Our ancestors quickly realized that gathering in groups and cooperation are essential to survival – just think of hunting, gathering various fruits or defending against predators. Therefore, we’re not making a mistake if we say that teamwork is as old as humanity, and although today its main goal isn’t survival, it hasn’t lost of its importance.

If we take workplace teamwork under scrutiny, the industrial revolution of the 18th and 19th century brought new technologies, production processes and more complex tasks with itself – those that would have been difficult or even impossible to do alone. During this period, the importance of teamwork in the workplace was significantly appreciated, ‘cause it resulted in higher volume production and improved quality, also reduced costs and the pressure on the individual.

In some industries, it’s especially important for people to work closely together, such in the production of wiring harnesses, which is carried out with nearly two and a half thousand employees in our company.

However, in order to talk about teamwork and not only a group of people working together, it’s particularly important to

• communicate regularly and effectively with each other,
• consider each other’s opinions and experiences,
• share our knowledge and ideas with each other,
• focus on collective goals instead of individual glory,
• assume responsibility for the execution of our tasks,
• be flexible and adaptable,
• turn to each other with confidence and
• support each other even in difficult times

Our company is one of the manufacturers with the best efficiency indicators in the region, the strength of which lies in its employees. Thanks to our colleagues with proper thinking and attitude, we’ve managed to create a workplace environment based on attention to differences, acceptance and equal opportunities in which our employees feel themselves good and help each other.

We’ve faced many challenges since the beginning, but we’ve stood our ground and proved that we rest on solid foundations and have a great team.
